MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
and
OUR OFFICE VISIT PROCEDURE

Making appointments for our patients is not merely a matter of finding a time slot and filling it. At Dentists' Office of the Hudson Valley, we take scheduling seriously and train our receptionists to follow the guidelines we have established to ensure maximum patient care. Each patient is given a specific appointment time that will accommodate both their schedule and ours. Your appointment time is yours and we do not double book any other patient. The only exception to this procedure is made for an emergency, because we feel it a priority to provide immediate care for a patient in pain.

When you make your first appointment with us you will be given several forms to complete. Amongst these are a medical history which your hygienist or dental assistant will update with you periodically, so we are always on top of your current state of medical health. Please tell us if there are any changes in your medical condition or any change in the medication(s) you are taking.

Feel free to ask for a tour of our office. Both modern technologically and aesthetically appealing, we would love to show it to you!

After you check-in and complete the necessary forms, you will meet with your dentist who will examine you and discuss your treatment plan. Periodically you will meet with a hygienist who will provide education about home care and gum disease. That will be followed by a thorough dental cleaning.

Our front office staff will be available to set up future appointments. They are trained to answer questions regarding insurance, and financial options. They have available to them the latest dental management software, and can update your on your account, in detail, quickly and accurately.

You can always feel comfortable about asking our practitioners, or our ancillary staff any question. We appreciate your comments about the care you receive in our office.
