ENDODONTICS
Endodontics is the segment of dentistry that deals with the nerves of the teeth. Endodontics services run the gamut from simple to difficult root canal treatments and surgical root procedures. Specifically, two Endodontic procedures are an apicoectomy, which involves the surgical removal of the tip of the root, and a root amputation, which involves the removal of a root on a multi-rooted tooth.
At Dentists' Office of the Hudson Valley, our general dentists have the proficiency and training to handle Endodontic treatment for our patients, in almost all but the most unusual cases.
